Privacy Policy
<Data Linker> ('https://www.datalinker.co.kr/#http://datalinker.fsweb.co.kr/www/main', hereinafter 'Data Linker') maintains the following privacy policy under the Personal Information Protection Act to safeguard users' personal information and rights, and to handle related concerns smoothly.
Data Linker will publish notices on the website (or send individual notices) when amending the privacy policy.
1. Purposes of collecting and using personal information
'Data Linker' processes personal information for the following purposes. Processed personal information is not used for purposes other than those listed, and prior consent will be requested if the purpose changes.
A. Responding to customer inquiries

2. Items of personal information collected and methods of collection

1) Data Linker processes and retains personal information within the legally mandated retention/use period or within the period to which the data subject consented at the time of collection.
2) Each period of processing and retention is as follows.
- Basis for retention: holding and processing personal information to reply to inquiries
- Relevant law: records on consumer complaints or dispute handling — 3 years
- Exception: where the customer has made a request
- Disposal procedure: the company disposes of personal information without delay once the purpose of collection and use has been achieved.
4. Rights and obligations of data subjects and their legal representatives, and how to exercise them
As data subjects, users may exercise the following rights.
- Data subjects may exercise rights such as access, correction, deletion, and suspension of processing of personal information against Data Linker at any time.
- Rights under paragraph 1 may be exercised in writing, by email, or by fax under Article 41(1) of the Enforcement Decree of the Personal Information Protection Act, and Data Linker will act on them without delay.
- Rights under paragraph 1 may be exercised through a legal representative of the data subject or an authorized agent. In this case a power of attorney in the form prescribed by attached form No. 11 of the Enforcement Rules of the Personal Information Protection Act must be submitted.
- Requests for access to and suspension of processing of personal information may be restricted under Article 35(5) and Article 37(2) of the Personal Information Protection Act.
- Where another statute specifies the personal information as subject to collection, deletion of that personal information cannot be requested.
- Data Linker verifies whether the person making a request for access, correction/deletion, or suspension of processing is the data subject or a legitimate agent.
5. Disposal of personal information
Data Linker, as a principle, destroys personal information without delay once the purpose of processing has been achieved. The procedure, timeline, and method of disposal are as follows.
- Disposal procedure
Information entered by users is moved to a separate DB (or separate paper files) after the purpose has been achieved, retained for a certain period under internal policy and other relevant laws, then destroyed — or destroyed immediately. Personal information moved into the separate DB is not used for any other purpose except as required by law.
- Disposal timeline
Where the retention period has expired, personal information is destroyed within 5 days from the end of that period. Where the purpose has been achieved, the service is discontinued, the business ends, or the personal information otherwise becomes unnecessary, it is destroyed within 5 days from the day the processing is deemed unnecessary.
- Disposal method
For information in electronic file form, technical methods that prevent recovery of the records are used.
6. Installation, operation, and refusal of automatic personal information collection devices
- Data Linker uses 'cookies' that store and retrieve usage information from time to time in order to provide individually tailored services.
- Cookies are small pieces of information that the server (http) used to operate the website sends to the user's computer browser, and may be stored on the hard disk inside the user's PC.
A. Purpose of cookies : Used to understand visits and usage patterns across services and websites a user visits, popular search terms, secure connection usage, etc., to provide information optimized for the user.

2) Data subjects may direct any inquiries, complaints, or remedy requests concerning personal information protection that arise while using Data Linker's services to the privacy officer and responsible department. Data Linker will answer and process the inquiries without delay.
8. Changes to the privacy policy
This privacy policy applies from the effective date, and any additions, deletions, or corrections required by changes in law or policy will be announced via notice at least 7 days before the effective date of the change.
